The Ghana Sports Fund is a statutory body established by Act 1159 of Parliament, passed on 29th December, 2025. It provides structured, sustainable financing for sports development across all 16 regions of Ghana, covering athlete development, infrastructure, coaching, and grassroots programmes.
The Fund operates under the Ministry of Sports and Recreation and is governed by a 11-member Board of Directors chaired by Prof. Koryoe Anim-Wright. The day-to-day operations are managed by Administrator, Ghana Sports Fund Dr. David Kofi Wuaku.
