The Ghana Sports Fund is governed by a 11-member Board of Directors appointed to ensure transparent, accountable stewardship of Ghana's sports development resources.
Established by Parliament
The Ghana Sports Fund was established by Act 1159 of Parliament on 2025, with a mandate to mobilise and allocate resources for sports development across all 16 regions of Ghana.
The Fund operates under the Ministry of Sports and Recreation, led by Minister for Sports and Recreation Hon. Kofi Iddie Adams. Administrator Dr. David Kofi Wuaku leads day-to-day operations with a mandate of transparency, equity, and performance-driven allocation.
